There will be an "open mic" open to the public following two Saturday performances: June 21st and July 12th. There is usually a 5 minute pause where we close the house and reset the theatre and then open this portion to the public. The open mics are BYOB. We will provide an accompanist, bring your own sheet music or use some of ours!

About

The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee is a hilarious tale of overachievers' angst chronicling the experience of six adolescent outsiders vying for the spelling championship of a lifetime. The show's Tony Award winning creative team has created the unlikeliest of hit musicals about the unlikeliest of heroes: a quirky yet charming cast of misfits for whom a spelling bee is the one place where they can stand out and fit in at the same time.

"An utterly charming look at one of the screwier manifestations of the American Dream."
- TIME magazine

"Spelling Bee is a winning experience for everyone." - USA Today
