"Entrain" brings their eclectic mix of infectious upbeat world rhythms and melodic catchy songs back to Playhouse on Park, after the successful Blue Back Square performance this past June. Garnished with a "Boston Music Award" for Best Live Act, "Entrain" with its horn section and signature "tons of drums' sound, has been gaining fans of all ages all over the country. This performance will include a sneak peek of Entrain's brand new, "Drums for Peace", multi-media show in addition to the Entrain songs you already know and love. The audience will be invited to participate in a drum circle at the close of the show.

Boston-based daughter of a big band vocalist and trumpeter. Amanda Carr is a multi-styled vocalist/pianist that began professionally in her teens in the rock and pop genre, but in recent years has focused on fresh
interpretations of the Great American Songbook receiving critical
acclaim as a jazz singer from a tough bevy of reviewers. For over three
decades she's performed and recorded both in the U.S. and Italy. Twice a
feature story by Nat Hentoff in The Wall Street Journal she's garnered
global exposure as he hailed her, "...a true jazz singer in a time of
wannabes". She's also featured in Hentoff's latest best-seller, "At the

Josh Hilberman ("tap maverick-- Boston Globe) foolishly celebrates tap dance, joined by two international tap stars, the German duo Tap and Tray. Together as Tap, Tray, and the Fool, and joined by long-time pianist Paul Arslanian, this afternoon concert celebrates tap dance in a variety of settings, from good old show-biz, to historical repertory, to new choreography in the 'modern' department, to an exciting collaboration with stop/time dance theater dancers. Tap dancers can all come fool around together with the Shim Sham Shimmy at concert's end!
