Darlene ZollerDARLENE ZOLLER (Artistic Director/Choreographer) founded stop/time dance theater in 2003 with its first full production of MY SHOW: A CHOREOGRAPHER'S STORY in April of 2004. She was born and raised in Duquesne, PA where she studied dance at a local recital school as well as Point Park University. After an extensive career in dance education, Darlene founded stop/time dance theater in an effort to give an outlet to talented adult dancers who have not chosen dance as their career. stop/time is in its tenth year and continues to give opportunities to those with a passion to dance. Darlene teaches at the HARTT School Community Division, Court House Plus Fitness and Wellness, and is a Co-Artistic Director/Founder of Playhouse on Park. She most recently choreographed ON THE TWENTIETH CENTURY for the HARTT Musical Theater Department. She, in collaboration with Colin Britt, won Best Director of a Musical (Broadway World) for CHICAGO at the Playhouse. They followed up their success with SWINGING ON A STAR in 2012 and will join forces again with the POP production of CABARET. Darlene conceived, directed and choreographed the Playhouse on Park exclusive MAMA D'S OUTRAGEOUS ROMP again with Colin at the piano! She would like to thank her husband, Tibor, son, Nik, sisters, Denise and Jo Ann for all of their love and support over the years.

COLIN BRITT (Music Director) is thrilled to work with his partner-in-crime Darlene and the talented stop/time family again! Previous Zoller/Britt collaborations include the award-winning CHICAGO, SWINGING ON A STAR, MAMA D'S OUTRAGEOUS ROMP, and stop/time's SHOWSTOPPERS. Other credits include THE LAST FIVE YEARS, SIDE BY SIDE..., and COMPANY at Playhouse, SINGIN' IN THE RAIN with West Hartford Summer Arts Festival, and SWEENEY TODD, JOSEPH...DREAMCOAT, and FIDDLER ON THE ROOF in his home state of Maine. Colin currently serves on the conducting faculty at Hartt, as director of music for Marquand Chapel at Yale, as the assistant conductor of the Hartford Chorale, and as the assistant music director at the Cathedral of St. Joseph. He lives in New Haven with his wife, Tori.
