Peter and the Wolf is a fanciful musical story composed by Russian composer Sergei Prokofiev. Meet the brave Peter along with the crafty cat, the unfortunate duck, the grumpy grandfather and the carefree bird…, as the Kelet Duo interprets this light-hearted tale accompanied by narration.
The Carnival of the Animals is the world famous composition by the French composer Camille Saint-Saëns. The Kelet Duo will lead the audience on this musical exploration of the world of animals: lions, hens, turtles, elephant, kangaroos, and more…You will also enjoy the narration of poems written by American humorist Ogden Nash.
The Kelet Duo is comprised of Taiwanese pianist Pi-Hsun Shih and Hungarian violinist Katalin Viszmeg. Both are extensively involved in music education and have been recognized for their motivating outreach programs for students of all ages.
