Joe is a comedian, actor, filmmaker and co-host of All In Our Heads Podcast. Joe’s open book approach to standup comedy has an honest point of view that any audience can relate to. He has been invited to perform at the NY Comedy Festival & Gilda’s Laugh Fest. When he’s not in comedy clubs making fun of his unrelenting confusion with life, he can be found escaping reality on hiking trails with his corgi in Northern New Jersey.

Playhouse on Park’s Mainstage singers are heading to Auerfarm to entertain our young audiences. Singers will perform all your favorite kids songs including show tunes, songs from the movies and more. Ticket holders will be treated to a novelty ice cream from A.C. Petersen Farms and the opportunity to explore Auerfarm through barn tours, hay rides and a visit to the gardens. Come and stay the entire time or drop in for a little while.

THOMAS BEEBE is an actor, director, and teaching artist who has worked with many professional companies across Connecticut. Thomas has appeared in over 50 productions at theaters such as Playhouse on Park, Hartford Stage, The Bushnell, and Peak Performances with favorites being Max Bialystock in the hit musical The Producers and William Barfee in SPELLING BEE. Thomas holds a BFA in Musical Theatre from Montclair State University.

AMANDA FORKER is a professional singer and actress from Wethersfield, CT. She majored in Vocal Performance and received her Bachelor of Music degree from Western Connecticut State University. Amanda has been performing at Playhouse on Park since they opened in 2009; some of her favorite credits include: NUNSENSE, SAY THINGS FUNNY: A LOVING TRIBUTE TO CAROL BURNETTE, [title of show], MAMA D'S OUTRAGEOUS ROMPS, SWINGING ON A STAR & MISS NELSON IS MISSING. HILLARY EKWALL is a West Hartford native happy to be performing at Auerfarm. Select credits include: National Tours: ROUNDABOUT'S CABARET (Rosie/cello/violin), HOW THE GRINCH STOLE CHRISTMAS. Regional: GREASE (Patty Simcox), WEST SIDE STORY (Anybodys), CABARET (Kost), and is a regular at Playhouse on Park having performed in over 20 productions there including favorites SPELLING BEE (Schwarzy) and YOU'RE A GOOD MAN CHARLIE BROWN (Sally). Well THAT'S Awkward is a cabaret style show featuring tunes of many different genres including Broadway, pop, and jazz. This show explores both the awkward comedy in new relationships, and also the hardships that come with adolescence and a teenager's growth into adulthood. Overall, this show will be both hilarious and heartfelt, with music that can be enjoyed by everyone! Stephanie & Declan will be joined by a full band including two keyboards, bass & drums.

DECLAN SMITH is sixteen years old and a junior at Conard High School who has been performing his whole life. His first play ever was at a Playhouse on Park summer camp when he was eight, and he's so happy to be back! He was recently seen as Robert in THE DROWSY CHAPERONE and as Algernon in THE IMPORTANCE OF BEING EARNEST on the Conard Stages. He loved playing Warner in LEGALLY BLONDE with West Hartford Summer Arts Festival where he also shared the stage with Stephanie. Declan is excited to be performing his second cabaret with Stephanie after their show Crazier Than You which they performed at Playhouse in 2019. STEPHANIE REUNING-SCHERER is so happy to be back performing with Declan in the Playhouse on the Farm series! Stephanie is seventeen years old and a senior at Conard High School. She most recently performed in Conard's production of THE DROWSY CHAPERONE as Janet Van de Graaff this past march. In past years she has also been involved in productions with West Hartford Summer Arts festival such as Wednesday in THE ADDAMS FAMILY, and Elle Woods in LEGALLY BLONDE. Stephanie is so glad to be back performing with Declan after their first show at Playhouse in 2019 called Crazier Than You.
